Free Online Breathwork Sessions
Experience the incredible power of breathwork from wherever you are.
Our free, live online sessions are designed to give you a bit of breathing space in your week. It’s a dedicated hour just for you, a chance to step away from the to-do list, quiet a busy mind, and simply reconnect with yourself. We focus on practical, down-to-earth breathing tools that help you unwind and feel more grounded. This is a welcoming space for everyone, completely free of pressure or expectation, no matter your experience level.
What Are Free Online Breathwork Sessions?
These are live, guided classes hosted on Zoom and led by our skilled facilitators and facilitators-in-training.
During the session, we will primarily explore a technique called Conscious Connected Breathwork, although there many be a variety of different breathwork practices used in a session.
The free online breathwork sessions are a highly practical tool for shifting your focus away from racing thoughts, safely moving physical tension, and bringing your awareness squarely back to the present moment.
Every class is 60 minutes long and follows a simple structure:
Welcome and Preparation: A brief introduction to the breathing technique so you feel completely comfortable and know exactly what to do.
The Practice: 30 minutes of guided, active breathwork.
Integration: Time at the end to gently bring your awareness back to the room, with an optional, no-pressure space to share your experience or ask questions.

Why Are These Sessions Free? (What’s the Catch?)
There is no catch.
We believe that everyone should have access to tools that support their well-being, regardless of their financial situation.
Offering these sessions for free is also an incredibly important part of how our school runs. They also serve as a real-world training ground for the students in our Breathwork Coach and Facilitator Training programme. By showing up for a class, you get a guided, supportive space to breathe, and in return, you give our trainees the practical experience they need to become confident, responsible facilitators. It is a brilliant cycle of people supporting people.
Curious About Breathwork Training?
If joining these sessions has sparked an interest in sharing this practice with others, you might be ready to step into space-holding. We offer GPBA-accredited, trauma-informed training pathways, from a foundational 50-hour Breathwork Coach programme to our core 400-hour Breathwork Facilitator certification.
Our approach is deeply built on community and connection. We skip the "guru" dynamics and focus entirely on giving you the real skills to hold space safely, ethically, and confidently. Because our courses are stackable, you can learn at your own pace, slowly building a professional practice that fits your life in a supportive community.

How Breathwork Actually Works
When we talk about the benefits of breathwork, it isn't magic,it is physiology. Your breath is the most direct communication line you have to your nervous system.
Most of us spend our days breathing shallowly into our chests, which signals to the body that we are under threat. This keeps the sympathetic nervous system (our "fight or flight" mode) constantly engaged. Over time, this underlying hum of stress takes a toll on our mental health, digestion, and ability to sleep.
When we use specific, focused breathing techniques, we can deliberately shift gears. By changing the depth, rhythm, and focus of our breath, we activate the parasympathetic nervous system (our "rest and digest" mode).
Practising regularly helps you:
Reduce stress and anxiety by lowering cortisol levels and slowing a racing mind.
Process physical tension by giving your body a safe space to feel and release stored emotion.
Improve focus and mental clarity by increasing oxygen flow and anchoring your awareness in the present moment.
Build somatic awareness, meaning you learn to listen to your body's subtle cues and know how to bring yourself back to a baseline of calm when you feel dysregulated.
Whether you are exploring a gentle breathing exercise to support your overall mental health, or diving into deeper somatic practices, the goal is the same: to give you practical, accessible tools to support yourself in daily life.
Online Breathwork Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
-
While gentle breathing exercises are generally safe for everyone, dynamic practices like Conscious Connected Breathwork are not suitable for all situations. If you are pregnant, experience severe panic attacks, or have specific cardiovascular or mental health conditions, active styles may be contraindicated. You always have the choice to revert to a gentle, resting breath. We ask everyone to review and accept our Breathwork Waiver before joining a session so you can make an informed choice for your own body.
-
Not at all. Our free breathwork sessions are completely beginner-friendly. Our facilitators will guide you step-by-step to ensure you feel supported, and you always remain in control of your own pace and depth.
-
Absolutely. While in-person sessions are wonderful, practising online means you get to drop into your own comfortable, familiar environment. With clear verbal guidance from our trained space-holders, you experience the same physiological benefits and community connection, right from your own living room.
-
If our live timetable doesn’t fit your schedule, you have a couple of options. You can join the Online Breathing Space Vault for just £5 a month (or £50 a year / £100 for lifetime access) to get on-demand access to our library of past recorded sessions. If you are looking for a more comprehensive platform, you can also start a 7-day free trial of our All Access Breathwork Membership.
-
Our free sessions are guided by trainees and graduates from our certification programmes. If you connect with someone’s specific approach and want to work with them one-on-one, or see if they host in-person events near you, you can look them up in our Directory of Breathing Space Facilitators.
-
We encourage you to keep your camera on so our facilitators can see your breathing patterns and hold the space safely. However, your comfort and agency are always the priority. If you feel more secure and grounded with your video off, you are completely welcome to practice that way.
-
It is very normal for physical tension or emotions to surface during breathwork. At the start of every session, we teach you how to use your "brakes", such as slowing your breath down, breathing through your nose, or gently opening your eyes. You are always in the driver’s seat, and you can regulate your own nervous system at any time.
-
We recommend practising on a relatively empty stomach. A light snack is absolutely fine, but try to avoid heavy meals for an hour or two beforehand, as a full stomach can make active, dynamic breathing feel a bit uncomfortable.
No Instagram? No Problem.
