Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
1. What is Conscious Connected Breathwork?
Conscious Connected Breathwork is a simple yet powerful technique that uses continuous, intentional breathing to help release tension, emotions, and stress. It can support deep relaxation, clarity, and personal transformation.
2. Do I need any experience?
Not at all! This session is designed for complete beginners as well as those with experience. You’ll be guided through each step in a supportive, accessible way.
3. What does "Pay What You Can" mean?
We believe breathwork should be available to everyone, regardless of financial circumstances. The suggested contribution is £20, but you are welcome to pay whatever feels right for you—no questions asked.
4. What should I bring?
Comfortable clothing you can move and breathe freely in
A yoga mat or something to lie on
A notebook (if you’d like to jot down any reflections)
A bottle of water
5. Is breathwork safe for everyone?
Breathwork is a powerful practice, and while it is generally safe, it may not be suitable for people with certain medical conditions, including severe asthma, epilepsy, high blood pressure, or a history of significant trauma or mental health challenges. If you have any concerns, please reach out to us beforehand or consult with your doctor.
Please review the waiver prior to the session
6. What happens during the session?
The session will include:
A short introduction and grounding exercises
Gentle movement and breath techniques to prepare the body
A guided Conscious Connected Breathwork journey
Time for reflection, integration, and optional sharing
7. Will I need to share my experiences?
Sharing is always optional. This is a space for you to explore your breath in whatever way feels right. You are welcome to listen, share, or simply be present.
8. What can I expect to feel during breathwork?
Breathwork can bring up a range of experiences. Some people feel deep relaxation, emotional release, or clarity. Others experience physical sensations like tingling or lightheadedness. Whatever arises, you’ll be guided through the process in a safe and supportive way.
9. Can I attend if I’m pregnant?
Breathwork can be intense, and Conscious Connected Breathwork is generally not recommended during pregnancy. If you are pregnant and interested in breathwork, please get in touch—we can recommend gentler techniques that are safe for you.
10. What if I need to stop during the session?
You are always in control of your experience. If you need to pause, slow down, or stop at any time, you are welcome to do so. This is a trauma-informed space where your well-being is the priority.
