Hiking, Yoga & Breathwork Retreat in the French Alps

Make some much needed time for yourself this summer and join us for an amazing week of calming yoga and energizing hiking in beautiful Val d'Isere in the heart of the French Alps. 

During your week with us, we will spend time restoring and nourishing the body with twice daily yoga practices (a mix of Hatha, Yin, and Restorative), exploring the paths of the Vanoise National Park and experiencing the transformational power of the breath.

You will also have delicious and nutritious vegetarian meals provided, access to our private hot tub and plenty of time to relax, unwind and refresh. There will be a trip to the steam rooms or saunas and the opportunity for myofascial release massage from a trained therapist.

We are running 4 retreats in 2018. They are 7 days/6 nights in length running from Sunday through to Saturday. The dates are:

Sunday July 22nd - Saturday July 28th
Sunday July 29th - Saturday August 4th

Our retreat will be held at the Cacholet Chalets in Val d'Isere. They are located up a secluded road but only a few minutes walk from the center of Val d'Isere. They are spacious, comfortable and with spectacular views over the valley. We will be sleeping and eating in Chalet Bel Air which has a beautiful balcony and far reaching views across the valley with plenty of space to feel comfortable.

Our practice space will be right next door in Chalet Roc Merlet. This space is large enough to accommodate the group and has tea making facilities as well as lounging space for when we are not in sessions. Outside there is plenty of parking space and a hot tub which you are free to use as often as you wish!

08:45 Healthy vegetarian breakfast buffet and packed lunch preparation at the chalet
10:00 Hiking through the Vanoise National Park (for example, Balcony Walk to Le Fornet and the refreshing plunge pool at Pont Saint Charles to get those endorphins going. We will have a break in Le Fornet for lunch and refreshments and then walk back through Le Fornet trees to Val d'Isere.)
16:00 Arrive back at our chalet where you will have free time to enjoy the hot tub, wander around town or relax quietly
18:00 Evening Chillout Yoga to help us to unwind our muscles after the activities of the day
19:30 Healthy and nourishing vegetarian dinner as a group

This is your journey and you are welcome to partake in as many or as few of these activities as you wish. The hiking does require some basic level of fitness, but if you feel that hiking isn't something you wish to do, there are many activities in Val d'Isere for you to enjoy which we would be happy to help you to organize.
